Pack

The Pack option can be used to “pack” a group of selected figures into the smallest possible rectangular space within the drawing canvas. This option is enabled when two or more unlocked figures are selected in the drawing canvas.

To pack a set of figures:

Select the figures to be packed in the Drawing Canvas.

Click on the Arrange Menu, select the Distribute Submenu, and choose Pack.

Enter a padding value (if desired) and then click on Pack.

The following images display the positions of a selected set of figures prior to and after using the Pack option. In the example shown below, various stencils have been added to the canvas from the Shapes Library and placed in random positions. This is how they appear before the action is performed:
